EGG Post Production & VFX Enhances 4K and Remote Workflows with EditShare's Advanced Storage Solutions
The Irish post house upgraded to EditShare NVMe and EFS300 storage, delivered by Tyrell, and adopted SwiftLink for remote access across editing, grading, and VFX.
EGG Post Production & VFX has expanded its capabilities with an EditShare storage upgrade built to support high-resolution workflows and remote collaboration, delivered with channel partner Tyrell.
Founded in 2004 by Gary Shortall and Gareth Young, EGG provides editing, finishing, sound, and VFX services to Irish, UK, and US broadcasters.
The upgrade brought 96TB of NVMe storage alongside 256TB of EFS300 capacity, replacing an older system that could no longer keep pace with high-resolution project demands, and consolidating offline, online, grading, and VFX work under a single storage vendor.
EditShare's SwiftLink technology gives editors, colorists, and VFX artists remote access to media and projects, supporting hybrid workflows with high-resolution streaming and no compromise on performance.
