TVC Soho Selects EditShare High-Performance NVMe Storage to Support Resolve Finishing Workflows
The London finishing house is deploying EditShare Ultimate EFS NVMe and EFS-310 storage, installed by Jigsaw24 Media, to support 4K and 8K DaVinci Resolve finishing alongside Avid workflows.
TVC Soho, a London post-production facility, has selected EditShare for a new finishing environment built around Ultimate EFS NVMe and Ultimate EFS-310 shared storage. The design is built to sustain the throughput demanded by 4K and 8K DaVinci Resolve finishing while remaining fully compatible with the studio's existing Avid workflows.
Marc Collins, Managing Director of TVC Soho, said the facility needed storage that could keep pace with rising resolution and file sizes without compromising on reliability, and that UK-based support was a key factor in the decision.
The system is being delivered by Jigsaw24 Media, a specialist systems integrator, giving TVC Soho's team a single collaborative platform and a foundation the facility can expand into offline editorial in the future.
Brad Turner, CEO of EditShare, noted that the installation reflects a broader industry need: pairing NVMe-class speed with the EFS file system so finishing performance and distributed team access aren't a trade-off.
Installation is scheduled for the coming weeks.
