Films at 59 Automates Post Workflows with EditShare Open API Integration
The Bristol post house connected its Farmers Wife scheduling system to EditShare through the Open API, automating project setup the moment a job is booked.
Films at 59, a Bristol-based post-production facility, has connected its Farmers Wife scheduling system directly to its EditShare media environment using EditShare's Open API, eliminating manual project setup and accelerating production startup.
The integration was built by the Films at 59 technical team with channel partner support from Digital Garage. Once a job is booked, the automation creates a dedicated media space, provisions the right team members, assigns storage quotas, and links project metadata automatically.
"We had it up and running really quickly. Now, every time a job is booked in Farmers Wife, the media space is built, the team is connected, and everything is ready to go," said Jamie Lawrence, Head of Technical Operations at Films at 59.
"EditShare's Open API framework made this integration straightforward and highly effective. The Films at 59 team took the initiative to connect their scheduling and media systems, and now they move from scheduling to editing without touching a single admin panel," said Sean Bradley, Regional Sales Director Northern Europe at EditShare.
